If you don't like my edits to the maps just head out to Mapquest or Google Maps and look for: Snyder, Roosevelt, or Hobart OK.

This is a wide view showing major cities and the basic map.  Amarillo is just out of the picture to the left (west), but if you are coming from that direction just hit I-40 and head east until you get to Clinton.  OKC, Lawton, and Altus are all visible so you shouldn't have any trouble seeing those.

This is a mid-range map.  At this point I'm assuming you've made it to Highway 183 at either the north or south end (or anyplace in the middle).  Here you can see where I've added Lake Steed and circled the small lake on the map.  If you've made it this far you don't need a map, just keep your eyes open for signs to Lake Steed on the west side of the road.

This is for those of you who may want to camp or stay at the Lodge in Quartz Mountain State Park.  This marks the the Highway 19 cutoff at Roosevelt (at convenient store).  The other side of HW19 ends at Blair.  You'll have to backtrack from Blair north to reach Quartz Mountains (Lugert).

NOTE:  As you are heading north out of Blair on HW283 you'll reach a point where 283 veers off to the left (west).  There is a tricky little intersection here and you want to jump on HW44 for the short trip on up to Quartz Mountains.
