STEED began when Luke, while traveling from Albania to Brazil, discovered a new kind of ride that is stylish, reliable, and eco-friendly. Realizing it didn’t exist back home, he brought the idea to the UK and made it affordable for everyone. Today, STEED continues to grow, providing customers with a versatile ride. Perfect for navigating city streets or cruising across the golf course.
Riding Legally
You can ride any scooter (except Labicana Pro) or tricycle legally on private land with the landowner's permission without any restrictions. However if you would like to ride it on public roads you need it to be registered, insured and taxed (and you need to be licensed).
You can purchase the scooter/tricycle from us preregistered or you can buy it unregistered and register it yourself. We also have a page on insurance providers we have had good experiences with. Road tax is £26 per year
If you have a full UK driving license and are over 21 you don't need any other license to ride the tricycle. Otherwise, you must take a CBT course (short one-day training/test combined). If riding on a CBT license, you cannot carry a passenger and must use learner plates.

Unfortunately the seat didn’t fit and so could only affix with two bolts and so the clubs are bouncing up and down. Spoken to Luke at fatwheelscoot who was very helpful and is sending a replacement and if that doesn’t work then he has offered bro replace with something different. With regards to the scooter- it is the most fun I’ve had on a golf course for years !!!!!!
Very nice, although no user manual. Have just received DVLA info so will be on the road to the golf club soon !
I actually ordered my Steed Trike when they were out of stock. So the excellent team sent me the details of the container that my steed was in and I followed it all the way from china to London.
I had fun building the trike at home and when I had a slight problem the team answered my emails within 24 hours.
My fully built Steed Trike is now stored at my golf club where it is admired by every single person who sees it.
I am absolutely sure that in time my Steed will not be the only one on my golf course.

Did the job perfectly after cutting it up and making the hole bigger . It is now a volt meter
I’ve upgraded the way the headlight is fixed to the trike which has stopped the body cracking. The bracket holds the light a lot more stable and will prevent it breaking in the future.
My brake pads arrived in plenty of time and packed well. I had help ordering them and great follow up service. Many thanks.
Well can i say this is my second dealing with these guys and TBH i think i will always use them ...this battery even tho is same Ah and voltage value it definitely feels a better battery
Find the backrest very useful, helping to support a rather bad back that suffers from Osteoarthritis.
Found it really useful, more than holds the bits and pieces I need for my golf.
